Step 01
We begin with a free 30-minute consultation to understand your child's academic profile, language needs, previous schooling and your family's priorities in Switzerland.
Step 02.
Based on our consultation, I prepare a personalised shortlist of schools that match your child's needs, your preferred regions and your timeline. Each recommendation is explained clearly so you understand why each school has been included.
Step 03.
I coordinate school visits, virtual tours and admissions conversations so you can properly assess each environment. I join where helpful and brief you in advance so you know exactly what to look for.
Step 04.
I guide you through each application, help you prepare strong submissions and manage communication with schools on your behalf-so nothing falls through the gaps during a busy relocation.
Step 05.
Once offers are received, I help you compare each option across academic fit, language environment, pastoral care and long-term pathways - so you can make a confident, informed decision.
Step 06.
My support doesn't stop at acceptance. I remain available through enrolment, transition and your child's first days - helping ensure a smooth and confident start at their new school.
My priority is finding the right school for your child — not simply a school within my partner network.
When I manage the full admissions process for a school within my partner network, my support is provided at no cost to your family, as I am remunerated by the school.
If you need standalone services or support with a school outside my partner network, fees apply depending on the service you choose. These are clearly outlined in my Service Book and discussed with you upfront.
I’m Nathalie Nicolet , originally from Australia and now based in Switzerland. I am a former international school admissions professional with over a decade of experience.
I’ve worked inside the admissions process, which means I understand how schools really operate — beyond what is presented in brochures and websites.
I know what schools are looking for, how places are allocated, and why some families secure places while others miss out.
Today, I work with both international and local families to navigate the Swiss education system — from first enrolment to school transitions, including moves from public to private and international pathways.
My approach is practical, honest, and tailored — focused on finding the right fit for your child, not just the most well-known school.
As a mother, I also understand the emotional side of this decision. Choosing a school isn’t just about academics — it’s about where your child will feel supported, confident, and able to thrive.
I work with a selected network of trusted schools across Switzerland, while always prioritising what is best for your child whether within my network or beyond it.

Ideally 6-12 months, if possible before the intended start date. Some year groups fill quickly, particularly in international and boarding schools, so early planning is essential.
Yes. I support families exploring international day schools, bilingual schools and boarding options across Switzerland, depending on what best suits the child and family circumstances.
I primarily support families looking at schools in Geneva, Lausanne, Montreux, Vevey, the Swiss Riviera, Verbier, Leysin and other major Swiss education hubs.
Absolutely. Many families relocate to Switzerland without French language skills. I can help identify suitable public, bilingual, and international school options depending on your child's age and circumstances.
In many cases, no. When I'm engaged to manage your full admissions journey — from initial consultation through to enrolment — at one of my partner schools, my support is provided at no cost to your family, as I am remunerated by the school.
If you choose an individual service instead, such as a Shortlist Report or Application Guidance, fees apply as set out in my Service Book, regardless of which school is involved — including partner schools. All fees are discussed with you upfront before you decide how you would like to proceed.
Yes. While earlier planning is always preferable, I regularly assist families who need urgent placements due to relocations, job transfers, or unexpected changes.
I work with a carefully selected partner network and may be remunerated by some schools. However my recommendations are always based on your child's needs first. If a non-partner school is the right fit, I will tell you.
Public schools are free and taught primarily in French or German depending on the canton. Private bilingual schools combine local and international approaches, while international schools often offer English-language curricula such as the IB, British, or American systems.
